One of Disney’s recent business plans is about selling “experiences.” Experiences like buying a guided tour and getting to walk through Walt Disney’s Apartment. Or having lunch at Club 33. So, here’s another “experience” that Disney can offer… Everyone loves trains… Even Walt Disney loved trains… and everyone REALLY loves Disneyland trains. Several years ago I put together a plan to play movies outdoors at Walt Disney’s Barn. It was a great success. People love coming out and watching movies in a large group, especially when it’s a Disney-related movie. Years ago when I worked at Bing.com, I got frustrated at Microsoft for not taking advantage of social marketing and not making it easy for their customers to find their products in the “social world”.
